I tried exporting to DocBook from OpenOffice 1.1.x (using the available xls files) and the result was not usable. Today I tried with OpenOffice2, the format is available in "Save As", it works fine and produces clean XML !
The import is not as good however, the only preserved things are lists (even section titles are no longer titles :( ).

did you manage to import a clean docbook document ? I did not manage to ... got a jabber id too ?
The import is really limited, as I said the import works but I loose most of structure.<br>For the Jabber id, my login at jabber.org :)

All the PEAR doc is (like PHP DOC) write in docbook. <br>I have try to write some chapter with OOo. That's work pretty good. <br><br>I jus't cant open all the original docbook in OOo so I need to remove header of the generated file to inclue it as a section
